Ramon Magsaysay Award 2010 for Mr. A.H.M. Noman Khan
The Board of Trustees of the Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation (RMAF) announced that seven individuals from Bangladesh, China, Japan, and the Philippines will receive Asia's premier prize, the Ramon Magsaysay Award. Mr. A.H.M. Noman Khan from Bangladesh has been named as one of winners who are remarkable individuals deeply engaged in reinventing the future for a better Asia, tapping into and strengthening the power of community. Disability Rights Fund (DRF) is opened again for Africa (Ghana, Uganda), Asia (Bangladesh, Latin America: Ecuador, Nicaragua, Peru), the Pacific (Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Republic of the Marshall Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu).
