Announcement from APCD Foundation

We would like to inform our partners of a change in the management of the Asia Pacific Development Center on Disability (APCD). APCD was established in 2002 under joint collaboration of the Royal Thai Government and the Government of Japan as a legacy of the Asia Pacific Decade of Disabled Persons (1993-2002).On 1st October 2009, the management of APCD was transferred from the Royal Thai Government to the Foundation of Asia-Pacific Development Center on Disability(APCD Foundation). APCD Foundation is a non-governmental and non-profit organization established with the endowment from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn when Thailand was awarded the Franklin Delano Roosvelt International Disability Award. 

 

APCD Foundation’s mission is to empower persons with disabilities as agents of change and to promote an inclusive, barrier-free and rights based society for all.

APCD Foundation looks forward to continuous collaboration with our partners in the Asia-Pacific region.
