    Due to some uncontrollable circumstances and variables, APCD would like to announce the postponement of the Training of Trainers for Community-based Inclusive Development (CBID), initially scheduled from 15-26 Aug, 2011. We are sincerely apologized if this change might affect your plan; however, we will immediately inform you of the new and approved date for your prompt action and participation.

  2. Ramon Magsaysay Award 2010 for Mr. A.H.M. Noman Khan

    The Board of Trustees of the Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation (RMAF) announced that seven individuals from Bangladesh, China, Japan, and the Philippines will receive Asia's premier prize, the Ramon Magsaysay Award. Mr. A.H.M. Noman Khan from Bangladesh has been named as one of winners who are remarkable individuals deeply engaged in reinventing the future for a better Asia, tapping into and strengthening the power of community. He has worked as APCD resource person, too.

  3. Disability Rights Fund (DRF) is opened again

    Disability Rights Fund (DRF) is opened again for Africa (Ghana, Uganda), Asia (Bangladesh, Latin America: Ecuador, Nicaragua, Peru), the Pacific (Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Republic of the Marshall Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu). The deadline for application is 19 August 2010. Please find more details at
